APPLETON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's soccer recored a season high seven goals to top Laurence University 7-0 Wednesday night.
Four different Pioneers scored the 7 seven goals of the night with Braxton Rottinghaus leading the way with three goals and one assist. Logan Rinderknecht and Matthew Huftalin each recorded goals on the night while Noah Mesdjian led assists with two.
Goalkeeper Nate Miller recorded 75:51 of the game with four saves while Will Sullivan recorded the remaining 14:09 and two saves.
The Pioneers held a 27-10 advantage on shots as well as a 7-3 advantage on corner kicks. Lawrence's goalkeepers recorded 10 saves in conjunction with the seven Pioneer goals.
The Pioneers return to action Thursday night in the rescheduled match-up against the Augustana Vikings at 7 p.m. in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
