Wheaton College edged UW-Platteville 1-0 in a tight men's soccer game Friday night in chilly Pioneer Stadium.
The Thunders' Chad Musgrave dribbled in and scored at the 76:38 mark for the only goal of the game.
The Pioneers held a 17-14 advantage in shots, although the Thunder had a 4-3 edge in shots on goal.
UW-Platteville fell to 8-8-1, while Wheaton improved to 8-6-3.
Coach Enzo Fuschino's club closes its season Tuesday at approximately 7 p.m.(or 30 minutes after the women's game) against Luther. Seniors Mitch Cornelius, Andrew Hanson, and B.J. Gottschlich will be saluted prior to the contest.
