More Honors Awarded to Manning, Stocki, and Rivers
Jake Manning and Jim Stocki were selected first team all-conference. Manning, a senior forward from Cedar Rapids, IA., was eighth in the WIAC in scoring(13.6ppg), fourth in field goal percentage shooting 57.8 percent and ranked sixth in rebounds with 6.2 boards per game. Stocki, a senior guard from Bolingbrook, IL, was seventh in scoring (13.7ppg) while also leading the Pioneers in scoring this season. Peyton River, a junior from Maquoketa, IA was also named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team for his display of exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season.
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Jake Manning and Jim Stocki capped off their Pioneer careers with more honors on Tuesday. Along with joining the exclusive list of 1,000 point scorers in Pioneer history, Tuesday the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) league office announced its 2014-15 All-WIAC Men's Basketball Team. Both Manning and Stocki were selected first team all-conference.

Head coach Jeff Gard invites all Pioneer basketball fans to join the Pioneers, as they celebrate the 2014-2015 season and the careers of Jameson Collin, Clayton Lewis, Collin Macomber, Jake Manning, Weston Nemitz, Steve Scharch and Jim Stocki on Friday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m in Velzy Commons-Ullsvik Hall of the UW-Platteville campus.
