PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Three University of Wisconsin-Platteville athletic teams will compete this week, with baseball scheduled to play at home later in the week and over the weekend. Softball hits the road for six contests, while track and field travels to Iowa for the early stages of the outdoor season.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville track and field teams sent several distance athletes to the WashU Distance Carvnival, with runners competing across the past two days. Over 1,400 total athletes from DI, DII, and DIII competed in five events, including: 10K, 5K, 3K steeplechase, 15000m, and 800m.

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team (5-7, 0-4 WIAC) wrapped up the four game series with UW-Oshkosh (13-3, 4-0 WIAC) on Friday, falling 8-7 on a walk-off in game one and 8-4 in game two from Alumni Stadium in Oshkosh.

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team (5-5, 0-2 WIAC) dropped the first two games of its WIAC slate by scores of 4-0 and 11-6 to UW-Oshkosh (11-3, 2-0 WIAC) on Thursday from Alumni Stadium in Oshkosh.

CLERMONT, Fla. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team picked up another win over Kalamazoo on Tuesday after falling 3-0 to 16-1 Lewis and Clark Tuesday morning. The Pioneers (9-3) held off a comeback attempt by the Hornets (7-5) to defeat them 8-6 after a 4-0 shutout on Monday.
