Pioneers name athletes of the week; Williams earns WIAC honors
Men's Field Athlete of the Week – Matt Dwyer, Junior. (Palos Heights, Ill./St. Laurence). Pole Vault. Dwyer won the pole vault at the Augustana Meet of Champions. Matt’s vault of 4.95m (16’ 2.75”) ranks him tied for first in the WIAC and tied for eighth on the NCAA Division III national list. That mark broke the UW-Platteville school record. |

Men's Track Athlete of the Week – Adam Lange, Junior. (East Dubuque, Ill./East Dubuque). 800 meters. Lange won the 800 meters at the Augustana Meet of Champions. He led from start to finish with a winning time of 1:54.82. He currently ranks fifth in the WIAC. |

Women's Field Athlete of the Week – Amber Williams, Junior. (Milwaukee, Wis./Hamilton). Triple Jump. Williams won the triple jump competition at the Augustana Meet of Champions. Her jump of 12.24m (40’-2”) is currently ranked tied for first on the NCAA National List. |

Women's Track Athlete of the Week – Devan Montgomery, Freshman. (Stoughton, WI; Stoughton). 400 meters. Montgomery placed second in the 400 meters at the Augustana Meet of Champions. Her time of 58.22 was a lifetime personal record and currently ranks her second in the WIAC. |
