Men’s Outdoor Track and Field – Track Athlete – Ian LaMere, Senior (Green Bay, Wis./Southwest), 10,000m – LaMere competed in the 10,000m at the Phil Esten Challenge hosted by UW-La Crosse on April 22. The senior’s time of 29:18.92 ranks first on the NCAA honor roll and ranks in the top 10 on the all-time Division III list. |

Women’s Outdoor Track and Field – Field Athlete – Megan Marotz, Senior (Marshfield, Wis.), Heptathlon – On April 21 and 22, Marotz competed in the heptathlon at the Augustana Women’s Invite. The senior’s total over the two days was 4525, which ranks first in the WIAC and fourth in the NCAA for Division III. Of the seven events she completed, she had personal records in five of them, including running 25.31 in the 200m, which broke the UW-Platteville school record. Marotz also ran 15.14 in the 100m hurdles, which ranks seventh in the WIAC and long jumped 17-9 (5.41m), which ranks fifth in the WIAC. |

Softball Pitching Athlete of the Week – Jessica Butzen, Senior (Neenah, Wis.), Pitcher – Butzen posted a 3-2 record throughout the week against Wisconsin Lutheran, UW-River Falls, and UW-Stout, and took a win from each of these three teams. The senior recorded only seven earned runs in the 33.2 innings pitched and struck out 25 batters. Butzen also recorded one save on the week as she finished out the Pioneers’ second win over UW-River Falls on April 22. |

Softball Position Athlete of the Week – Jessy Tanel, Freshman (Mukwonago, Wis.), Infielder – Tanel recorded nine runs for the Pioneers as the Pioneers improved their win total to 11 on the season, which is more than two times last year’s total. The freshman drove in seven RBI and receive four walks on the week. |

Women’s Outdoor Track and Field – Field Athlete – Amber Williams, Senior (Milwaukee, Wis./Hamilton), Triple Jump – Williams competed in the triple jump at the Drake Relays and placed 10th in a field of 24 individuals with a leap of 38-11 1/2 (11.87 meters). Her jump is currently ranked first in the WIAC and eighth on the NCAA Division III Honor Roll. |
