Football Defensive Athlete of the Week – Austin Young, Jr. (Shannon, Ill./Eastland) Defensive Line – Young helped hold UW-Stout to only 10 points in the Pioneers’ 43-10 win on Saturday. The junior had six tackles, including two and half tackles for a loss, and a pass break up in UW-Platteville’s 43-10 victory over UW-Stout. |
Football Offensive Athlete of the Week – Quinn Buschbacher, Jr. (Sugar Grove, Ill./Kaneland) Wide Receiver – Buschbacher caught twelve balls for 156 yards with three touchdown receptions in UW-Platteville’s 43-10 victory over UW-Stout. The junior’s 54-yard touchdown in the second quarter was a career long reception. |

Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week – Eric Matuszak, So. (Cuba City, Wis./Cuba City) Kicker – Matuszak had seven kickoffs and one touchback in UW-Platteville’s 43-10 victory over UW-Stout. The sophomore converted on all five PAT attempts | |
Cross Country Male Athlete of the Week – Ian LaMere, Jr., (Green Bay, Wis./Southwest) – LaMere won the WIAC Cross Country Championships Saturday. Despite already being a National Champion, this is LaMere's first WIAC title. LaMere won in commanding fashion pulling away early on in the race and winning by 41 seconds, the largest margin of victory in at least the last 18 years. LaMere didn't win due to a lack of competition, in second place was the 5,000 meter National Champion from UW-Eau Claire, Josh Thorson. LaMere's time was also the fastest 8,000 meter time in Championship history. |

Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week – Janelle Ferguson, Fr., (Rockford, Ill./Auburn) – Ferguson finished in 20th place to earn All-WIAC honors at the WIAC Championship Saturday. Ferguson's time was a two-second personal best and was completed on a rainy and soggy course. Ferguson helped the Pioneers score the second lowest score in program history. |

Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week – Team – The men's soccer team went 2-0 this week after beating #5 UW Whitewater (3-2 with goals from Lucas Aplin, Jon Stopple and Logan Rinderkecht) and Carroll College (3-0 with goals from Travis Mashuga and Alex Bach -2) and finishing the season at 10-4-3. The team will keep training this week as we are awaiting a possible NCAA at-large berth. |

Volleyball Defensive Athlete of the Week – Kelley Lynch, So. (Richland Center, Wis./Richland Center), Outside Hitter – Lynch had 25 digs and notched a 4.17 dig/set average in the Pioneers final week of competition. The sophomore also had two blocks, two aces, and 14 kills in two games for the Pioneers last week. |

Volleyball Offensive Athlete of the Week – Allison Jensen, So., (Lowden, Iowa/North Cedar) Outside Hitter – Jensen had 13 kills (2.6 per set) and two total blocks in two games for the Pioneer volleyball team in their final week of competition. |
