Daniel Inyang -- High Jump -- Senior -- Glendale, Wis. / Nicolet Inyang won the high jump at the Sol Butler Classic hosted by the University of Dubuque this past weekend. His height of 2.03m (6' 8") was a lifetime best jump that moved him up to ninth on the UW-Platteville All-Time List. That mark ranks fifth in the WIAC and is tied for 18th on the NCAA Division III National List.

Taylor Roughen -- Pitcher -- Senior -- Lake Mills, Wis. / Lake Mills Roughen put together a dominant opening performance, throwing a five-inning no-hitter against Knox last Thursday in a 10-1 Pioneers win. The senior struck out 13 and walked just two in the win and became the first UW-Platteville pitcher since 2018 to throw a no-hitter. Roughen also pitched against Elmhurst the following day and earned her second win of the season by allowing one run across three innings of work. Across eight total innings pitched last week, Roughen struck out 19 batters while giving up just three hits. |
