Logan Pearson -- Senior -- Kimberly, Wis. / Kimberly -- Forward

 

Pearson was the leading scorer for the Pioneers during the week, averaging 28.0 points per game, while adding 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.5 steals to fill out the stat sheet. In a 65-64 loss to UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 24, he totaled 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Pearson followed that up with a career-high 38 points on 12-of-19 shooting and posted a double-double with 10 rebounds in a 80-77 road win over UW-La Crosse on Jan. 27. He was perfect from both three-point range (4-of-4) and from the free throw line (10-of-10) in the victory over the Eagles.

Ella Mackiewicz -- Sophomore -- Shawnee, Kan. / Shawnee Mission Northwest -- Guard

 

Mackiewicz helped the Pioneers go 1-1 on the week by averaging 17.5 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 52.4% from the field. The sophomore scored 15 points with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in the win over UW-Stevens Point on Wednesday before adding a team-high 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting with five boards, five assists, two blocks, and two steals against UW-La Crosse on Saturday. Mackiewicz shot 76.5% (13-of-17) from the free throw line across the two games.
