Pioneers name athletes of the week

Women's Basketball -Maiah Domask, Junior (Waupun, Wis./Waupun) – Power Forward

Domask averaged a double double with 16.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 56% (28-of-50) from the field to help the Pioneers to a 2-2 stretch the past two weeks. Domask had 19 points and 14 rebounds while shooting 81.8% (9-of-11) from the field in the 78-40 win over Lakeland on Dec. 20. In the 74-56 win over Lawrence on Dec. 29, Domask had 12 points, 9 rebounds and shot 57.1% (4-of-7) from the field. In the 61-68 loss to Loras in the Loras Holiday Tournament Championship Game on Dec. 30, Domask had 21 points, 10 rebounds and four steals while shooting 42.9% (9-of-21) from the field. Domask scored 14 points on 54.5% (6-of-11) shooting from the field and added seven rebounds in the Pioneers' 41-65 loss to UW-Stout on Jan. 4.

Men's Basketball - Justin Stovall, Junior (Chicago, Ill./Whitney Young) – Forward

Stovall averaged 12.3 points per game and shot 50% (14-of-28) from the field in the Pioneers' 2-1 stretch the past two weeks. Stovall averaged 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. In the Pioneers' 74-66 win over LeTourneau on Dec. 27 in Belton, Texas Stovall had three blocks, six rebounds and scored two points. The following night Stovall came back with 18 points while shooting 7-of-14 from the field, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in the 72-74 loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor on Dec. 28. Stovall began conference play with 17 points, nine rebounds and a block in the Pioneers' 89-67 conference win over UW-Stout on Jan. 4. Stovall shot 75% (6-of-8) from the field and 83.3% (5-of-6) from the free throw line.
