Pioneers name athletes of the week, Reinhardt earns WIAC Kwik Trip honors
Kaite Asche, Markie Ash, Stephanie Kalinowski, Brenna Kautz, Donald Allender, Nick Hein, Tyler Reinhardt and Andrew Schweigert
Kaite Asche, Sophomore (Pecatonica, Ill./Durand) – Middle Blocker Asche totaled 22 kills (2.44 per set) and hit .222 in the Pioneers' 1-1 week. Asche had nine kills (.128 hitting percentage) and added three blocks in the loss to North Park on October 1st. In the win over UW-Stevens Point on October 5th Asche had 13 kills on 24 attempts (.375 hitting percentage) and added three blocks. |

Markie Ash, Sophomore (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) Ash finished tied for 4th overall with a three-day score of 233 at the WIAC Championship at Reedsburg Country Club over the weekend. Her three-day score of 233 is the lowest in school history. She also recorded the 3rd lowest round score of the tournament with a 74 in the second round. |

Stephanie Kalinowski, Freshman (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon) – Libero Kalinowski totaled 45 digs (5.0 per set) in the Pioneers' 1-1 week. Kalinowski had 18 digs and three aces in the loss to North Park on October 1st. In the win over UW-Stevens Point on October 5th Kalinowski had 27 digs and four assists. |
Brenna Kautz, Sophomore (Port Washington, Wis./Port Washington) - Women's Cross Country Kautz finished with a personal best of 24:07.5 in the Blugold Invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire on Friday, October 4th. Kautz was the top finisher for the Pioneer women and finished 69th overall in the 6,000m race. The Pioneers finished in 15th place of the 27 womens teams in attendance. |

Donald Allender, Junior (Youngstown, N.Y./Lewiston-Porter) – Wide Receiver Allender totaled 123 yards and one touchdown on just three catches in the Pioneers' 38-20 win over UW-La Crosse on Saturday. On the first play of the second half Allender caught a fade and took it 90 yards for a touchdown to tie the game. |

Nick Hein, Junior (Reedsville, Wis./Reedsville) - Men's Cross Country Hein finished with a personal best of 26:42.0 in the Blugold Invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire on Friday, October 4th. Hein's time earned him 93rd place in the 8,000m race and contributed to the Pioneers' 13th place finish of 29 mens teams. |

Tyler Reinhardt, Senior (Slinger, Wis./Slinger) - Safety Reinhardt led the Pioneer defense that shut out UW-La Crosse in the second half of Saturday's 38-20 win. Reinhardt had one interception and nine solo tackles including two tackles for a loss of 13 yards and a sack for a loss of four yards. *Also named WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week - Football - Defense

Andrew Schweigert, Freshman (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) – Kicker Schweigert was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points and hit a crucial 33-yard field goal in the third quarter to give the Pioneers a two-score lead over UW-La Crosse. |
