UW-Platteville and student-athletes achieve WIAC All-Academic honors
MADISON, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-Platteville student-athletes were recognized for their academic achievements and combined grade-point average among the eight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) institutions in the 2018-19 academic year. UW-Platteville, as an institution, finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.073. It marks the 19th year in a row UW-Platteville has achieved WIAC All-Academic honors. To receive All-Academic honors as an institution, the Pioneer student-athletes achieved a higher grade point average than the overall student body.

UW-Platteville, as an institution, finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.073.
It marks the 19th year in a row UW-Platteville has achieved WIAC All-Academic honors. UW-Platteville's 19 consecutive year's receiving All-Academic honors is curently the longest streak out of all eight WIAC institutions. To receive All-Academic honors as an institution, the Pioneer student-athletes achieved a higher grade point average than the overall student body.
UW-Platteville is one of five institutions to earn the 2018-19 WIAC All-Academic Award, joining UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Stout and UW-Whitewater.
UW-Platteville recorded 234 student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher in 2018-19.
During the 2018-19 academic year, nearly 50 percent of the 5,110 student-athletes competing in the conference achieved a 3.00 GPA or better (on a 4.00 scale) and were named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
Individuals named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll received a certificate, while institutions claiming the All-Academic Award are provided a plaque.
