UW-Platteville Track and Field Complex
The nine-lane outdoor 400-meter oval track is located adjacent to the indoor track. With a 10mm full pour polyurethane Beynon surface, only 1/4 inch or smaller pyramid spikes are permitted.
The long jump and triple jump runways are located outside of the outdoor track along the home stretch on the south side of the track. Three sand pits allow both the triple jump and long jump to be contested simultaneously in an east or west direction.
The pole vault runway is located outside of the outdoor track along the back stretch (north side of the track). There are two shot put circles located on the west end of the infield. The discus and hammer throw circles are located on either end of the infield, allowing for all throwing events to be housed within the facility. The high jump is contested on the east end of the infield.
The facility served as the host to the 2011, 2017, and 2019 WIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The facility is the host to a pair of intercollegiate and high school meets throughout the year.
